The Glasswing Therapy Pre-Graduate Program is a paid, in-house training program for 4th-year Speech and OT students. This exclusive program is offered 1 - 2 days a week at our office in Terranora, NSW depending on your availability and uni schedule.
What will I do during the program?
Shadow a range of sessions
Assist senior therapists
Create a range of visuals & resources
Complete session observation surveys
Complete guided training models
Write a client FISP and reports
And much more!

“I am currently a fourth-year occupational therapy student. Recently I have taken on a role at Glasswing therapy within their new pre-graduate allied health program. So far, I have been able to shadow the sessions of various members of the occupational therapy team and have been able to listen to, and learn from, the clinical reasoning they have used for individual clients. As well as this, I have also been involved in discipline-specific meetings and have been able to listen to collaborative conversations between, for example, speech pathologists and occupational therapists about working towards a common goal for shared clients. As the program continues, I will be seeing clients and planning sessions with a bit more independence than I have experienced on placements and I am very much looking forward to doing so. This experience has been extremely beneficial for me as it is a graded approach to a field of occupational therapy I have always had an interest in. Through slowly gaining more responsibility, workplace-specific knowledge and continually building confidence, I now have reasonable expectations of what the future will hold, and I feel as though I will be able to make a very smooth transition from uni to work next year.”
