The Glasswing difference
The Glasswing difference
Glasswing Therapy block service delivery model.
In 2023 Glasswing Therapy’s new and improved service delivery model.
As a company, we are committed to offering a high quality service that is focused on delivering results and retaining quality therapists who share our values. In order to achieve this, we have reviewed the way that we offer services, to ensure that we stay true to our core values, mission, and vision as a company and offer the highest level of support for both clients and staff.
Block therapy service model allows us to ensure all clients receive the same quality and level of support towards their goals by ensuring our therapy is meaningful and effective and provide opportunities for consolidation and therapy beyond the session and ultimately setting clients and and clinicians up for success.
The way forward
Improving the lives of our clients and their families is our company mission and our new service delivery model is the way forward to achieving this promise.
-
Your dedicated clinician has already prescribed the appointment type that will be best suited to your needs.
If you have any questions about your appointment type your clinician will be happy to discuss with you.
-
Please refer to the handbook for more information regarding Appointment Inclusions, Block Therapy and Family and Individual Support Plans.
Your clinician will confirm ongoing blocks with you as required.
Please let your clinician know your holiday preference so that we can plan for what is required.
-
FISPs are documents created by clinicians in consultation with the client, their family and carers.
They are used to monitor goals and progress across each block of therapy and are mandatory for all clients.
The FISP ensures clinicians at Glasswing Therapy are working towards and achieving client and family centered goals.
Block Therapy Service Delivery Model
We now structure our therapy services in BLOCKS of 10 weeks*
Creating a goal focused and meaningful approach to therapy which promotes increased therapy outcomes
Supports the regular and holistic review of outcomes to ensure the right goals, interventions and services are provided to reach long-term goals and priorities
Provides more opportunities for you, your clinician and team to plan ongoing therapy to suit your individual needs
Provides more flexibility for clients to engage in blocks of therapy when it is most appropriate and prioritised and take a break when needed without the concern of not being able to link back in with a clinician
Enables clients to focus on different services as guided by their clinician, like taking a break from speech pathology to engage in community groups or focus on occupational therapy goals
